The Unplanned Parent is a podcast about what it actually takes to bring a child into the world: the decisions, the health prep, the weird legal conversations, and everything your physician doesn't have time to explain. Hosted by pediatrician Dr. Angel Rampal and her brother Raman, the show follows Raman's real-time journey into platonic co-parenting with his longtime friend Ashley, who is currently pregnant via IVF.

Hear stories about friends becoming platonic co-parents and meet experts in fields from infectious diseases to penile health. This entertaining and illuminating podcast is light in spirit but heavy on the science.

As opposite but close-knit siblings, Dr. Angel and Raman ended up choosing very different paths. Dr. Angel is the eldest daughter who went to medical school, got married, and became a pediatrician, integrative health specialist, and mother of three. Raman, her younger brother, is a travel company founder, world-exploring nomad, and professional fun uncle.

Together, they explore science-backed approaches to creating healthy families, from pre-pregnancy onwards.
